I grew up on a farm in the Central Drakensberg, and have been a passionate and enthusiastic hunter as far back as I can remember. As a youngster, I spent all my free time with either a gun or a fishing rod in my hand, and grew up under the watchful eye of friends and family who were instrumental in cementing my core values and highly principled approach towards conservation and hunting ethics. I have sought to implement these ideals of fair chase and sustainable hunting.
I obtained my professional hunter’s license at the age of 21 (the minimum age in Southern Africa) at the prestigious Goss Estates Hunting Academy.
I then pursued a career in professional hunting. In my early years as a freelance hunter, I was privileged enough to gain invaluable experience and expertise through working with many experienced outfitters and professional hunters.
Freelance hunting took me on remarkable journey to countries all over the world. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to guide and hunt in South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, France, Austria, and the U.S.A.
I then started my own safari/hunting outfit in 2004, specialising in wing shooting and plains game hunting, and operating out of Winterton, Central Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal.
